Richard Buskin is a New York Times best-selling author and freelance journalist who specialises in music, film, TV and pop culture. A native of London, England, who relocated to America in 1995, he has written more than 20 books, including biographies and co-authored autobiographies relating to The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, Whitney Houston, Marilyn Monroe and the world s most famous record producers and engineers. A co-author and consulting editor on the Billboard Illustrated Encyclopedia of Music and the Definitive Illustrated Encyclopedia of Rock, Richard has contributed articles to newspapers and magazines around the globe, ranging from the Observer, The Independent, the New York Post and the Sydney Morning Herald to Playboy, Paris Match and Melody Maker. He lives in Chicago.
