Mari Howard was born in London, and studied at Newcastle University and the Oxford University Department of Continuing Education. She is passionate about family, cross-cultural understanding, and how we can peacefully combine the best of inclusivity and modern science with the best of tradition and faith beliefs. She is also passionate about Independent publishing, because of the creative freedom this offers authors to write 'cross-over' rather than be confined to one genre. And because the Indie community tends to be supportive of one another, encouraging, and forward-looking. Mari has a lifelong interest in the natural world, has worked in pregnancy counselling, and in various medical settings both in admin and on the wards. She lives with her husband in Oxford where she has raised 3 children including twins.
