Synopsis

'Essays in Truth - Glimpses into Reality' By Nick Roach & Sally Powell.

"Nick Roach has once again provided us with a profusion of provocative thoughts and stimulating speculations as to our true nature. Nick isn't shy about declaring his own Enlightenment. He states with razor-sharp clarity what enlightenment is and isn't, and how any of us can drop our resistance to Enlightenment at any moment, by simply becoming aware of where we are and what we are feeling. If Nick is right, Enlightenment is not at all what most `Enlightened' teachers say it is, but instead is both more mundane and more terribly wonderful than we ordinarily allow ourselves to imagine... or experience." Jordan Gruber, Founder and CEO, Enlightenment.com

"Nick Roach is a voice for our collective awakening. His 'Essays in Truth, Glimpses into Reality' opens up many of the profound and pertinent questions which demand to be addressed as we explore the depths of this mysterious business we call `life'." Timothy Freke, author of many books investigating spirituality, including The Jesus Mysteries and Lucid Living.

A propos du livre

À propos des auteurs

Having had an emotionally difficult time in childhood, at 17 years old Nick Roach demanded of life that he be shown a reason for it all. A short while later he found the teachings of a Western Spiritual Master who taught that one is responsible for the circumstances of their own life, as well as for how they feel about it. And Nick quickly learnt the process of facing and dissolving emotion as a means by which one can realise the truth or love behind it: their own true nature. Having had many insights, experiences and spiritual realisations, Nick entered the experience known as enlightenment or Self-Realisation as he was turning 30 years old. This book is complied of essays originally posted on the website.

Sally lived a totally 'normal' life prior to meeting Nick in her late 40s, and then her life changed. In the section entitled 'Sally's Pages' she describes some of her own insights which occurred during the first couple of years with Nick.
