Revue de presse

Many and varied are the thrillers which vie for readers' attention these days, so something special is needed for a novel to rise above the general run. Adrian Dawson quickly demonstrates that he has the smarts to do just that with Codex... a pulse-raising narrative that rarely allows the reader pause for breath. And it's refreshing in a blockbuster thriller such as Codex that one doesn't have to put one's intelligence on the back burner. --Barry Forshaw - Crimetime

Adrian Dawson shoots for the stars with his debut; historical events, modern terrorism and state of the art computing all play a large and relevant part of the plot. Action takes place in Europe and the USA with a slight detour to Peru. The melange of different ideas used could all have warranted a decent book each. The plot is as tight as a snare drum and as each snippet of information is uncovered or revealed you are left sated by the logical conclusion yet eager for the next bite of intrigue... The prose is a joy to behold in the early chapters as the author exercises his literary muscle and produces some of the best crafted sentences I have read this year. --Crimesquad

A classy, compelling and intelligent thriller. -- --Louise Laurie - The Book Bag
