Michael Rosen is a much loved author of children's poetry and stories. His adult writings include a book about his experience of catching Covid and being cared for by the NHS in the ICU when severely ill. He has written about his Jewish family's experiences before and during World War 2. Another book reflects the pain of loss of a close family member. He has a distinguished career as a university professor of English language and literature. His deep interest in children's learning has made him critical of government policies on education,schools and the primary and secondary school curriculum.
