Rob Walsh is Managing Director of Clear Vision Accountancy Group, a firm with a remarkable track record in transforming the lives of dentists and their families.

Rob began his career as a chartered accountant. He worked his way up the ladder over a period of eight years to become partner in a six-partner firm.

Rob recognised that as an accountant he was in an ideal position to not only help business owners measure their numbers, but also to help them change them and achieve their personal goals. But this was something he felt he could not do effectively in his present role. So in 2003 he formed the Clear Vision Accountancy Group ("CVAG") to pursue this vision.

Through CVAG, Rob has found his vocation; helping to make a difference to the lives of business owners. He works with them closely, helping them define their goals and also assisting them in reaching them.

He has helped hundreds of business owners to get more of what they want from their lives. His notable track record includes an innovative action plan which successfully increased the turnover of a manufacturing business from £1.6m to £4m within the space of three years.

It was after he started working with a dentist in 2001 that Rob realised the potential to help business owners in the dental sector. As he explains:

"It is clear that many dentists struggle to find the time to step away from their businesses. They are tied to them on a daily basis. As a result their quality of life suffers. Their families suffer. And they rarely get the rewards they deserve."

This was the driving factor in creating Clear Vision Dental Consultancy ("CVDC"), a thriving consultancy firm which is helping around 20 dentists at any one time.

Rob is a man who most definitely `walks his talk'. CVAG is in the top 5% profitable accountancy firms and CVDC continues to gain plaudits.

But these results are not achieved at the expense of Rob's own life - he enjoys 13 weeks holiday a year and spend an additional six weeks working on the strategy for his business.
