Synopsis

THE SPRITE SISTERS - FOUR SISTERS, FOUR ELEMENTS, FOUR POWERS FIRE - WATER EARTH - AIR The Ghost in the Tower is the fourth title in Sheridan Winn's bestselling Sprite Sisters series. The stories have sold over 550,000 copies in Germany and are now being made into a film. This will be screened in German cinemas in 2019.

Aimed at girl readers aged 7-12 years, the stories focus on the magical adventures of Flame, Marina, Ash and Ariel Sprite. Over their heads the swirling black shape dived and spun, up and down. Ariel screamed as long, thin hands stretched out, reaching for her hair. Then up it rose again. The sisters waited, their eyes focused, their fingers poised, ready to use their magic. 'What's she going to do?' squeaked Ariel. 'I don't know, ' gasped Flame. She could feel the incredible strength of Margaret's dark power. When the ghost of Glenda Glass's wicked ancestor Margaret is released, the atmosphere at Sprite Towers gets decidedly chilly, and the girls' Hallowe'en party turns far more sinister than anybody had planned. With Grandma away, only the Sprite Sisters can rid Sprite Towers of the phantom and that means entering the portal in the tower and risking their lives to change the past . . .
