Synopsis

Croutons and Cheese! continues the hilarious exploits of Rod Fleming and his wife Moira, with their children, face up to the challenge of living in France. It describes the laughs and the heartaches with many observations about life on the way. The book describes real-life episodes in a witty and readable manner. It follows on from French Onion Soup! which was the first book in this series.

Courtons and Cheese! explains living in France, for a non-French person, in a quirky nd p[ersonal way, through anecdotes about the author, his family and the people around them. The armchair traveller will be delighted by the authentic scenes of life in rural France and the intending emigrant will be reassured that while moving to France might not be the easiest thing to do, the rewards are worth the effort. Emigrés already in France will find much that is familiar in the book, perhaps described in a different light.

The book is illustrated with firty-three original photographs taken by the author.
