Synopsis

Some tales were meant to be read at Christmas, but The Colour Red is a children’s Christmas tale for everyday of the year.

Never let the magic of Christmas fade as they enter the magical world of Loss De Plott. One of the most exciting and endearing characters your child will ever meet!

The colour of magic is brought to life for children everywhere in The Colour Red. Not at all like the colour purple or even blue but a colour which brings dreams to life. All within a book of dreams given to Loss by a man in a very strange hat!

“Now promise me Loss,” her grandmother said, “you will never draw anything in the colour red. And whatever you draw must come from your dreams, where the things that you see are not what they seem!”

And so begins an amazing adventure. Weaving rhyme and timeless illustrations into a beloved bedtime story for children, The Colour Red forever captures the magic of childhood dreams in a book you will want to read over and over again.

Biographie de l'auteur

Stephan J Myers divides his time between writing and illustrating his bestselling children's books. As a child he was forever lost to his imagination, living in make believe worlds where dreams came to life. He believes it is in the realms of imagination that true magic can be found. When the real world calls, he writes the occasional blog post about his books and the motivational thoughts that pop into his mind as he writes them. Living in deepest, darkest Kent, he also masquerades as a man servant to a Labrador, spends far too much time in the kitchen and loves reading heroic fantasy novels.
