Julia grew up in the West Midlands without a single pet, but has since made up for lost time with her current fur family consisting of 8 dogs (7 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and a Golden Retriever) plus 11 cats, who give her plenty of inspiration as well as oodles of unconditional love. She works as a dog training instructor and consultant canine pregnancy detection ultrasonographer and lecturer. She is married with 2 grown up children.
