From the highly successful “Guitar For Kidz” series, the ensemble arrangements in this book are designed for classical guitar students of an intermediate level. It has been widely used in both school and private education programs for those players of a competent 3rd to 5th grade standard, and there is scope in many of the arrangements to place both less or more experienced players onto parts appropriate for their level. The book contains 10 great sounding titles in standard music notation, each with full score and individual parts, these are completely new works never previously published for guitar ensemble – from Bach, Sor, and Llobet, to jazzy folk song arrangements and new, modern classical pieces.Students would require knowledge of the 1st and 2nd position notes across all 6 strings, and some notes up to the 12th fret area on the E and B strings. Other pieces also need players who can play a rhythm guitar role over chord progressions when that occurs. It is also possible to effectively apply the book's contents to the plectrum style of guitar playing. View the “Look Inside” book icon to see song titles and contents.
