Inscribed and signed on title page to Mary Lib Miller, wife of harness racing legend Del Miller. The McKenzies were close friends of both the Millers and the Millers' next-door Bay Hill frends/neighbors Arnold and Winnie Palmer. Both appear in the book. McKenzie maintained contact with Mary Lib after Del's death, and laid-in correspondence is included - two "footprints" note cards to Mary Lib with extensive handwritten notes discussing, among other things, horse racing, and signed, "Love, Roy"; a handwritten note on Roydon Lodge Stud stationery asking Mary Lib to pass along a copy of the book to Gloria, signed, "Cheers, Roy"; and two additional pieces of related ephemera, all in very good condition. 279 pages. 9 1/4" x 6 1/2".
