Liv Dooley, M.Ed, is the founder of The Colorfully Candid Paradigm, a Christian non profit that serves to enhance the emotional intelligence of girls in middle and high school through mother daughter conflict resolution workshops called M.A.D. Conversations(TM) and book clubs. Liv Dooley is the creator of The Unconditional Tour, a mother daughter conference that tours throughout the United States to strengthen girls, mothers, and mentors. Born and raised in Alton, Illinois, Liv endured a variety of issues that include bullying, depression, anorexia, suicidal ideation, and alcoholism. Each of those issues were exacerbated by the conflict she experienced in her relationship with her mother, a relationship that God has restored and she treasures greatly now. Today, Liv hosts the conferences with her mother and they enjoy communicating about their struggles openly and honestly, with the hope that it will help others. Liv Dooley is committed to mentoring others through her speaking, writing, and service and she is the author of One Chance to Live Young: The First Colorfully Candid Diary and Two Dreams and a Goal: The Second Colorfully Candid Diary. This is her first non fiction book. When she is not working with youth or writing, Liv enjoys traveling with her husband, walking with her dog Napoleon, or visiting with her parents. She can also be found serving in the community of Las Vegas with her church New Antioch Christian Fellowship at Aliante.
