Book is profusely illustrated with 137 of Picasso works and 82 photos of Picasso, 96 in color, many full page pictures. Photographs by EDWARD QUINN, Introduction by John Russell, and translated by Roland Balay. Book is in VERY GOOD condition with pictorial cloth binding with front board having a close up of Picasso's face half shadowed with large white facsimile of Picasso's autograph stamped in white with Felicie name and concentric square logo all in bottom right corner of front board, with bold white lettering and Felicie logo on spine. Book's spine tips and corners are bumped and worn with slight fading to cloth on boards otherwise book is VERY GOOD+ with binding and insides tight, bright, clean and unmarked. NO previous owner's or library markings, NO foxing and NOT a remainder or book club edition. Yellow and red pictorial endpapers have photo of line of folks waiting for Picasso exhibit at Paris museum in 1967 for front endpapers and photo of the chateau de Vauvenargues where Picasso's grave is located. DW is in GOOD condition . DW is heavy textured gold gilt wrapper with approx 5" x 6" window into Picasso's eyes on front board on top 2/3 of front cover under which there is a large diagonal Picasso signature facsimile stamped in black near Felicie logo and name in bottom right corner. DW's spine tips and corners are bumped and worn with creasing and chips. There are tears to 3 corners of window on front cover (1/2 to 1") with creasing to right side.
