Inscribed, signed and dated by Lellenberg on the title page, "For Rex Pinson- Drink a bottle of your very best wine when you read this-- so my prose will seem to improve-- Very best irregular wishes, Jon Lellenberg, January 13, 1996". Pinson was a noted BSI, invested into the group. as Inspector G. Lestrade at the 1973 dinner. Laid in is a four page stock list from Gasogene Books who carried a large selection of Sherlock Holmes books and pastiches. A gorgeous collectable copy of a scarce item and a great association.
