Synopsis

Alexander Key (1904-1979) was a writer and illustrator who today is best known as the author of Escape to Witch Mountain, but before that in the 1930s he drew on his experience living along Florida's Gulf Coast and his knowledge as a sailor, to pen two novels of adventure navigating the treacherous waters of the area. Island Light was his first followed by The Wrath and the Wind.
