Circumnavigator Liza Copeland grew up racing in the UK, ran charter boats in the Caribbean and now lives in Vancouver, BC. A former educational psychologist, she is now a full-time writer. She has written four best-selling cruising books about her family travels around the world and North and Central America, along with Cruising for Cowards, co-authored with husband Andy, an up to date, realistic text for coastal as well as offshore cruisers. She contributes to a variety of magazines and is a seminar speaker at major boat shows in the UK, US and Canada.
