The 132 pages of this volume are largely intended as an indictment of the provincial and federal governments of their day (1950) for the secretive process by which the BCPP was absorbed into the RCMP. There is however a tremendous section of photographs after page 92. Following that is a section of specific , on-the-job, histories. You 'll read about jail breaks, canine heroes like Rinny, and murder. The author was a BCPP officer and an RCMP. Learn more about : game wardens, wounds, Court of Enquiry, commendations, Constable Eric Hallam, and winter patrols along the Yukon Boundary. Signed by the author on the title page. Cond : Paper wrapper is green and gold with white lettering. Front cover illustration is of a BCPP officer mounted on a white horse. All edges show minor wear. Binding tight, colours bright.
