Synopsis
Karen Robbins is an early childhood expert and former Romper Room teacher with a masters degree in early childhood education. She created the I Can series to help young children learn to read together in a fun, easy way. There are only kindergarten and first grade words, with short sentences and lots of repetition to build reading confidence. Reading with a buddy will bring pleasure to both children as one reads the Aardvark and the other the Mouse. Together they will cheer, “I Can Read! Let’s read it together again!”
Robbins added I Can Count to the series so children can learn to read while introducing them to beginning math concepts. I Can Count also provides a first introduction to numbers and telling time.
