Synopsis

The Raw Edge of Hell, is fiction built around historic fact: The Korean War, dubbed a Police Action by President Truman, is winding down after three years of action and fifty six thousand deaths. Korea at the end! The world press concentrates on the welcome event of the peace and the return of the POWs, thus ignoring the tragic deaths of thousands of men as the out numbered American Marines fight the Mighty Chinese Army over the control of a small, but politically significant hill. Robert Babcock, Major, USMC, his brilliant career ending in chaos, as the result of a baseless accusation, leads a Rifle Company in one last attempt to save his reputation and the lives of his brother Marines.
