“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the innocent do?" DeeAnn Brandon's true story is an emotionally raw and Spirit-led response to the turbulent millennial world she lives in. A live root that shoots deep into who she truly is and where she began The Bird with a Broken Wing: A Love Song takes us into the heart of the Life-Giver. His Voice gives pulse to DeeAnn's shattered soul. Tragic losses, violent abuse, and lying labels vanish in Truth’s light. God saw her healed before she was formed. He keeps his promise: “You are a bird with a broken wing. I will heal you so you can fly.” DeeAnn’s true identity--her true song--endures in her Beloved’s eyes. Face to face with Grace, she heals. Page by page, her story reveals that whether the one defiled is a person, a race, or a nation, our healing innocence lives and moves and has its being in Love Himself. "If the foundations are destroyed. . . The innocent shall behold the Face of God!" Psalm 11
DeeAnn Brandon lives in Bozeman, Montana, with her husband Curt. They have four adult children and one in heaven. Besides her book projects, DeeAnn writes for artists, enjoys painting, walking on nature trails, swimming, and traveling with Curt throughout Montana's backcountry. They treasure moments at a friend's cabin on the lake in the Pintler Wilderness and spending time with kids and grandkids. DeeAnn has also been a certified teacher in California and Montana, and whether in or out of the classroom finds there are always opportunities to teach.
