This Fifty-seven minute documentary tells the spectacular story of the teaching methodology utilized by the scholars of the University of Timbuktu in Mali, West Africa. TEF uses historical footage, re-enactments and a remarkable exposition of art, architecture and interviews of African scholars to recount the rise and the importance of the University of Timbuktu and its methodology of teachiing. Increasingly, scholars and historians are recognizing the profound impact that this great learning center has on the annals of world history.
