Synopsis

Enlighten Your Life: The Six Principles is a book on the essence of natural leadership based on six principles: Generosity, Patience, Integrity, Effort, Meditation, and Transcendent Wisdom. These six principles are none other than the Six Perfections, or Paramitas of Buddhism. Each principle when practiced as part of our daily life propel us to be a light in the world for all to see. As we internally and externally develop these principles we become natural leaders, no matter what our path in life may be. As Mahatma Gandhi once said:Be the change you wish to see in the world. By integrating the Six Principles we become that change. This book explains each principle and shows how they work. It is a step by step approach to developing natural leadership. It is simple, straight-forward, and within the reach of any one who makes the effort to practice. This book elaborates on the internal and external aspects of compassionate living and expression.

À propos de l?auteur

Jeffery Beach devoted his life to Buddhism more than 40 years ago. He's studied Buddhist sutras and meditation practices for more than 3 decades, from Chinese and Japanese Zen to Vajrayana Buddhist philosophy. Jeffery practices and teaches students on a one on one basis, a rare esoteric form of Taoist-Buddhist meditational Qigong in which he became the first western initiate in 1986, in accordance with the traditions of his lineage. Jeffery became a tantric practitioner of Tibetan (Vajrayana) Buddhism in 1994. His most profound wish is to bring the universal principles of these spiritual teachings to all by writing with the every day words that can be applied to our daily lives, whether or not we have a spiritual practice or belief.
