Synopsis

The Professional's Guide to Litigation Management. This guide is perfect for the business person, certified public accountant, doctor, office administrator, and layperson. Its three sections address three critical areas: civil litigation and lawsuit management, the lawyer's ethical responsibilities to the client, and the duties incumbent upon the client in the lawyer/client relationship. This straight forward no nonsense discussion addresses practical issues of litigation management and cost control. This publication demystifies the lawyer client relationship, and empowers the professional and layman to control litigation, its management and ultimate outcome. "Understanding the American legal system is difficult enough for American-born residents, let alone new immigrants. Wei C. Wong's booklet is a helpful bilingual tool for the Chinese American community. It will provide a greater understanding of their rights and the responsibilities of the attorneys that serve them."
