Joan Reeder Babcock is a fiber artist, award winning jewelry designer, teacher, and author who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Joan has been creating one of a kind jewelry and fiber art since 1988. Her unique style of fiber, bead, and metal jewelry highlights the technique of Cavandoli knotting and her work has been featured in Ornament, Beadwork, Bead and Button magazines and numerous bead design books. She has been teaching nationally since 2004 and published her first book; Micro-Macrame Jewelry, Tips & Techniques for Knotting with Beads, in October 2005.
