This is the second missing person case in nine months — a university exchange student never made it back to her Carleton University residence from a downtown party in November.

Brenda Chapman is a crime writer who has published over twenty books, including the lauded Stonechild and Rouleau series, the Anna Sweet mysteries for adult literacy, and the Jennifer Bannon mysteries for middle grade readers. Brenda's work has been short-listed for several awards, including four Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence. A former teacher and senior communications advisor in the federal government, she makes her home in Ottawa.
