Présentation de l'éditeur

"They're trying to kill me!" Jared Kimmel is running for his life. It’s a race against time. Will the out-of-shape revolutionary publish Divine Intervention: Jesus or Jefferson? Or will the guns of a Cuban hit man and a Cairo hate man terminate the retired lawyer-turned-author and his ground-breaking book? What provoked a tyrant and a terrorist to target the message and the messenger? The life and death chase hurtles through tautly drawn adventures in Mexico, Central America, and the Amazon, pausing only in remote internet cafes from which the author’s e-mails reveal mankind’s liberation from failed Near East tribal scripture. But danger. Always danger for the unlikely hero. Just steps ahead of a bullet, Kimmel’s high-wire flight from assassins, guerillas and his staid past, fatefully delivers him to a beautiful nun, igniting emotions that transform their realities. While an ensemble of colorful characters grips your heart, your mind is constantly challenged by a startling exploration of the nature of man and what to do about it. Jared Kimmel’s courageously fresh insight and devilish humor propel his adventures over the barbed wire of mankind’s faith and foibles to a shocking climax of liberty and love. Stanley Kimmel Kesselman, a riveting new voice, accomplishes a publishing first: in Romancing the Bible he graces readers with a page-turning fiction thriller about the publication of his non-fiction companion masterwork, Divine Intervention: Jesus or Jefferson?
