As a young student Marilyn Adeyemi fell through the cracks. Her family life and school performance intertwined, and as a result she struggled for years to unravel the threads of her family's dysfunction. Marilyn was born and raised in Philadelphia. After earning a bachelor's degree in Urban and Rural Studies from U.C.S.D., she received two teaching credentials-Multiple Subject and Special Education. As a dedicated educator, Marilyn has worked many years supporting children and helping them live up to their academic potential.
