Dr. Alberty is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. He also holds the following certifications: Nationally Certified Counselor; Master Addiction Counselor; and Clinically Certified Juvenile Treatment Speicalist. He holds a doctorate (Ed.D.) in Counseling Psychology as well as a Ph.D. in Nutrition from a holistic perspective. He began his career in counseling psychology in 1975 as a crisis intervention specialist. It was baptism by fire, but he learned a great deal that would inspire his love for counseling, and crisis-based counseling caused him to learned it quickly. He has a deep concern for the welfare and well-being of others. He believes that the potential for greatness lies within each of us. He defines adversities as stepping stones on a path called growth; and excuses as stumbling blocks on a path to nowhere. He dedicates himself to the belief that every soul has value. Dr. Alberty loves empowering others to discover the greatness within themselves. His greatest joy is witnessing the epiphanies that others experience in the discovery and realization of their greatness. He has authored several books. He is a poet, author, and motivational speaker. He finds happiness in his marriage, his family, and that rare breed called true friends. He has poured his heart and soul into this book, and desires only that you will learn from it; tell others about it, and enjoy its benefits to the utmost.
