This is Swede's first collection of haiku since the universally-praised Almost Unseen(Brooks Books, 2000). It features 126 poems that show a continuing evolvement of style and content.

Swede has published 34 collections of poetry (18 haiku and/or tanka only), edited six anthologies of poetry and published 11 other books, including one on the haiku form and two on the psychology of art and creativity. In 1977, he helped found Haiku Canada and during 2008-09, he was the Honorary Curator of the American Haiku Archives at the California State Library in Sacramento. He lives in Toronto and is the editor of Frogpond: Journal of the Haiku Society of America.
