Rickie Wood-Bovee is an avowed readaholic. she has been reading non-stop since early childhood and has read many publications on supernatural experiences. She also is an accomplished seamstress specializing in Victorian clothing, and has made a study of the fashions and trends of that time period. She is also a retired circus acrobat, and when she is not writing, she spends her free time sewing and practicing her acrobatic skills. Rickie is a mother of two, Kari and Brenda, and a grandmother of two, Dalton and Molly. She currently lives with her husband, Jim, in rural Northwest Florida, just outside of DeFuniak Springs, the location of her Open Pond stories.
