Bentley Meeker began his lighting career by working for renowned photographer Peter Vaeth at the age of 14, where he learned about lighting concepts for still and print photography. He subsequently utilised that knowledge to work on many studio release feature films and commercials before starting his lighting company at age 22. Meeker has worked on several special events for numerous celebrities including Robert DeNiro, Billy Joel and a host of others as well as many live performances including those of Aerosmith, and Elton John, to name a few. He is the founder and president of Bentley Meeker Lighting & Staging, Inc. He lives in New York City. Preston Bailey is America's premier event designer and frequently works with Bentley Meeker. He is the author of four bestselling books and has appeared on The Today Show, among others. His work regularly appears in dozens of publications including Vanity Fair and Elle Decor. He lives in New York City.
