It's a story for our time set in a distant wrinkle of space where some things are familiar and others are forever surprising. El Tiburon, my next thriller, is well underway. I've edited and published magazines; written and produced corporate communication; taught graduate and undergraduate writing, media, and public communication courses; written and developed more than 100 educational and consumer software products for major publishers. Writing has been central to my life; essential throughout my career. I studied creative writing at San Francisco State College (now University); have an MA in public affairs communication from Stanford University. I love my family, Baja Sur, snorkeling, and well-told tales in print and film.
