Sr. Marci Blum OSF, a Dubuque Franciscan, is Director of Shalom Retreat Center in Dubuque, Iowa. She is a spiritual director and has a D.Min in spirituality. Sr. Marci Blum has published a number articles on spirituality for the Dubuque Witness and Telegraph Herald newspapers. Her first book, Living Like Francis Today, published in 2005, is a six-session faith sharing book based on the Gospel values lived by St. Francis of Assisi that is pertinent to our lived experiences. Sr. Marci now shares her home with Maggie, a Wheaton-Poo mix puppy adopted from the local Humane Society.
