As a kid, I loved to color and always had a fat pack of Crayola crayons on hand. I liked them sharp, unbroken and with the paper sleeve intact. Today, I am passionate about writing and gardening. With my new book Color My Garden, I have combined all three passions in the hopes that kids of all ages will enjoy coloring and learning about habitat gardening simultaneously--the birds, bees, butterflies, and bugs and how they keep our gardens in balance. It's one of my favorite topics as a Master Gardener to teach. I take scads of photographs, mostly of beautiful gardens and the four B's, and I enjoy traveling--always with camera and notebook in hand.
