Synopsis

The author spent 32yrs. with the Chicago Police Department and retired as a Detective with the Violent Crimes Unit. During his career he maintained a 99% percent conviction rate on felony arrests. After retiring, he traveled all over the United States, Canada and Mexico as an instructor for Pat McCarthy's' highly rated "Street Crimes" Police Training Program. The author and his former partner, Chicago Police Detective Walter Smith are Nationally Recognized Experts in the field of Concealed Compartments in Motor Vehicles/AKA 'Trap Cars', introducing legislation regarding those types of vehicles as an Officer's Safety issue. Det. Goff worked undercover on over a thousand investigations some of those in the capacity as a Hitman, Cartage Thief, Weapons buyer, Drug dealer, Junkie, Robbery Decoy and posing as a member of a motorcycle gang. Det. Goff received the Cook County States Attorney Award for testifying and gaining convictions in 309 consecutive Felony Jury Trials.
