NOTE: This is the small group, companion workbook for "Heard: The Power and Promise of Christian Prayer." It divides the material in "Heard" into six study sessions, each containing a mix of fill-in-the-blank and questions for individual reflection and group discussion. Dale Van Steenis' humor, global experience, academic background and hunger for renewal have strengthened church leaders around the world. For twenty-five years he has served as director of Leadership Strategies International (LSI), training ministers and church workers in developing nations. LSI assists thousands of people annually through humanitarian assistance, medical aid, food, water-purification projects, and agricultural improvement programs. Dale and his wife Gloria are parents of four children and reside in Southern California.
