Trained in tailoring, Irina experienced in all technical aspect of apparel design, apparel construction, and patternmaking. With an advanced degree in fashion design and extensive experience in fashion industry Irina understand every aspect of fashion design process.

As a fashion designer, she blends her technical knowledge of clothing design with artistry. Balancing creative and technical aspects of fashion process Irina creates her books in both real-world practical and artistically stylish way.

Apparel design is just one aspect of her multifaceted creative skills. In addition to expertise and experience in fashion design, Irina is a professional illustrator and trained visual artist.
