Dr. Tiffany D. Sanders, also known as Dr. Tiffany, is a Licensed Psychologist, school psychologist, researcher, educator, diversity consultant, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. She is owner of Sanders and Associates, a private practice with a diverse clinical staff devoted to providing quality mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy and positive psychology, she teaches children, teens, and adults with Bipolar disorder, Major Depression, Post-partum depression, Generalized Anxiety, Test anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity/Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders how to manage the symptoms of their disorder, overcome life obstacles and personal loss, deal with anger and frustration, resolve conflicts, and create and maintain healthy relationships. She has lectured, researched, and published on how to be an authoritative parent using effective disciplinary styles and practices, increasing parent involvement in education, post-partum depression, and suicide awareness and prevention. As a highly regarded and sought after expert, her advice or knowledge has been featured in Chicago Parent, The Parent Paper, The Oakland Press, Jet Magazine, and Black Enterprise Magazine. Dr. Tiffany received her undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University with Upper Level honors in psychology and a minor in family and child studies. She earned her PhD from the University of Florida's School Psychology Program, where she specialized in multicultural psychology and family studies. Currently, she is pursuing a Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Certificate at Fielding Graduate University to gain a thorough understanding of how human brain functioning affects her clients' language, learning, memory, attention, cognition, and emotional functioning. She is a member of American Psychological Association and National Association of School Psychologists.
