The Lord’s Prayer is the simplest yet most profound place to learn how to pray. In these short verses, Jesus himself teaches his disciples how to pray. For this reason, most Christians have committed to memory these verses at one time or another in their lives; however, the Lord’s Prayer was meant to be so much more than a rote prayer to be memorized. Hidden within these short verses is a rich Biblical tapestry that unlocks the depth and meaning of each petition. This month-long devotional will help you grasp this larger Biblical context to appreciate the richness of this prayer and the way it brings us into closer fellowship with God. Above all, this prayer realigns us to the gospel and what Christ has accomplished for us.
