Cali became a land of extraordinary care for its aging population, of tender, sensitive parenting for the babies arriving from America, and a land of freedom for an historically repressed people.

À propos de l'auteur

Helen Ruth Schwartz honed her writing skills as a member of the U.S. Army. An honor graduate of the Department of Defense Information School, and recipient of the Army Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service, Major Schwartz ended her military career after 7 years and rejoined the civilian community. Using the GI Bill of Rights, Helen received a graduate degree from the State University of New York, and became a nursing home administrator, and eventually, a publisher of materials designed for nursing home employees. Now retired, Helen lives in Florida and can be found practicing her golfing skills on The Villages' golf courses.
