An editor by trade, M.W. MacKay has come to love the rigor that poetry demands--telling a complete story, well and beautifully, in a few short lines. Her award-winning poems have appeared in The Aurorean, Nantucket Magazine, and other publications. She lives on the North Shore of Boston with her husband, son, cat, and chinchilla.
