Arlene M. Coleman is a wife, mother, and homemaker who has collected dolls since 1949. She has researched Ruth Gibbs and her dolls for the last fourteen years.

Coleman holds an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Bucks County Community College and plays violin in the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra. She lives in Bucks County with her husband of almost fifty years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
