A propos du livre

Revue de presse

...the first to convincigly wed these concepts together with such a thorough commitment to building a fully immersive and thoroughly convincing cinematic experience..... --Sc-Fi Now magazine, December, 2012...a grand, absorbing sci-fi tale we wholeheartedly recommend........ --IPad and IPhone Magazine, November, 2012....undoubtedly the best graphic novel of 2012 and a guaranteed epic adventure that will transport you to another planet. In short, Anomaly is quite simply out of this world! --Alternative Magazine Online, November, 2012......the results are really impressive especially close-up..... writer Skip Brittenheim s tale is really enjoyable (focusing on a group of inter-plantery adventurers who land on an alien planet and try to integrate themselves into various warring tribes) and it s backed up by illustrations from artist Brian ......may well be the first of many that use AR to take comics to a new level. -- -- --taps magazine, January, 2013

Anomaly lives up to it s most expensive graphic novels ever produced boast by standing leagues apart content-wise from it s nearest competitors....well worth investing in if you re a fan of sci-fi and fantasy in that Epic genre mould --BadHaven, January, 2013---undoubtedly the best graphic novel of 2012 and a guaranteed epic adventure that will transport you to another planet. In short, Anomaly is quite simply out of this world! --Alternative Magazine Online, November, 2012

The artwork is as fantastic as the story, really bringing the alien planet to life with very realistic looking artwork. The enormous size of the book allows for some breath-taking whole page scenes which are truly incredible. The speech is also layered over the image rather than put into speech bubbles which means they don't cover the background as much as they do in other graphic novels. As you've probably gathered by this point, I loved it. It's the best graphic novel I've ever read and every moment was joyous. I cannot put into words how fantastic this book is. If you can afford it, you have to buy it! --Into Geek, Feb, 2013

undoubtedly the best graphic novel of 2012 and a guaranteed epic adventure that will transport you to another planet. In short, Anomaly is quite simply out of this world! --Alternative Magazine Online, November, 2012

Présentation de l'éditeur

Anomaly is set in the year 2717, a time when most humans live in off-world colonies, and a single corporation, The Conglomerate, routinely conquers other planets to steal their resources. The story follows a group of explorers who embark on a diplomatic mission to a mysterious planet, only to find themselves embroiled in a global conflict between its exotic inhabitants. In a world where nothing is as it seems, faced with lethal terrain, killer mutants and deadly magic, their mission turns deadly. Brittenham and Haberlin worked with distinguished professors in philosophy, religion and science to develop Anomaly's cultural landscape and planetary functions based on actual historical and scientific facts. The hardcover book has been printed using a groundbreaking wide-gamut process that allows for more range of colour and detail than is available in conventional printing. It features illustrations that range from intimate, personal scenes to full cinematic double-page spreads. Readers can download a free Anomaly app for iOS and Android equipped with Ultra Augmented Reality™ technology featuring more than 50 fully 3D models. Just point your iOS or Android device at the page of the hardcover book and the illustrations spring to life in 3D animation and interactivity.
