He gave his life to Jesus while hitchhiking around the country and began to train for ministry. He returned to San Francisco in 1977 as part of a church-planting team and co-founded an evangelistic ministry that mobilized thousands to share the gospel throughout the Bay Area. In 1984, Michael and his wife, Diane, planted a Vineyard church in San Francisco that grew to be one of the largest and most impactful churches the city had seen in a generation. This led to an invitation to serve as a Vineyard district overseer for most of Northern California. In 2010 after 33 years of fruitful ministry in San Francisco, the Brodeurs moved to Redding, California, where Michael has served in a number of ministries including Jesus Culture, Global Legacy and the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. Michael is the author of several books and travels around the world as a conference speaker and leadership coach. He is the founder of www.DestinyFinder.com and www.PastorsCoach.com, two powerful websites that are transforming individuals and organizations. Michael is passionate about equipping emerging leaders and preparing the Church for what God is about to do in the earth. He and Diane have seven amazing children and four beautiful grandchildren.
