Not just a book of erotic poetry, this first book by Lilly Penhall spans a twenty year period of writing, from her first published poem, written at age eight about war in the Middle East, to her breakthrough "Ode to the Orgasm" which has captivated open mic audiences across the country. Reminiscent of Emily Dickinson, Dorothy Parker and Sandra Cisneros, the 31 poems are sensual and symbolic, irreverent and intellectual.
