Synopsis
Moorea, a ten-year-old ballerina, can’t wait to find out what role she will perform in the Nutcracker. It is the biggest ballet performance of the year! All of her friends received their invitations and roles. But what happens when she is given the role of a Little Mouse and put back with girls half her age? Should she quit ballet? Her life takes a sudden turn when she receives a mysterious package from her grandmother in Paris. The gift given is an enchanted tutu that transports her to another world, one in which she is much older and braver, dancing on the professional stage. Once there she finds herself performing levels above her ability, gracefully executing pirouettes, arabesques, and grand jetés on pointe. Is it all just a dream for this little ballerina?
