Sufism, the mystical path of Islam, has been the inspiration for poets, visionaries, and spiritual seekers for fourteen centuries since the time of the Prophet Mohammad (peace by upon him). Based on the teachings of renowned Sufi Masters Seyedeh Nahid Angha and Shah Nazar Seyed Ali Kianfar, this book serves as an introduction to the beautiful and mysterious journey followed by more than 65 million people around the world today. Included are quotations from the Holy Qur’an on which Sufism is based and a sampling of ecstatic Sufi poetry from the 8th to the 20th century provides a glimpse into what has been called “the journey of lovers.” This book will provide inspiration and guidance for those seeking spiritual growth and personal transformation.
