True servant leadership is not easy and often unseen, but Melvin has learned over the years that its effect is far reaching and long-lasting. A devoted husband and father of two beautiful girls, Melvin has spent the last 20 years coaching leaders in the nonprofit sector and mentoring young men. He has traveled across the country speaking on topics of leadership, purpose, and personal development. He speaks with passion, which allows him to connect with his audience and move them to action. His coaching skills are in great demand because he makes himself fully available and asks the insightful questions which lead his clients to advance to the next level in their personal lives, professions, and businesses. Serving as the lead pastor of a church, Melvin also focuses on meeting the needs of the community and helping individuals fulfill their purpose in life. He is an advocate for those who are economically disadvantaged and has coached groups on relationship-building for over 20 years. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, a Master of Theology degree, and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree. He has served as the Senior Vice President and top sales agent at Primerica Financial Services, one of the largest insurance and investment firms in the country.
