Synopsis

Helping those with autistic conditions Medicine tells us there is no answer. However the great news is, there is now hope for children with Autism, ADHD, ADD and learning difficulties. Simple and natural methods that have been proven to work, that actually gets to the bottom of the cause of autistic conditions. Treating the underlying cause is the key to effective treatment. American writer Paul Collins made a profound and insightful quote by saying, “Autist’s are the ultimate square pegs, and the problem with pounding a square peg into a round hole is not the hammering is hard work—it’s that you’re destroying the peg.” This is not only the frustration that many people, particularly parents of autistic-spectrum children have in dealing with the autistic condition, but also the way those who have the condition are treated. Disorders such as autism, ADHD, ADD, learning and behavioral problems and dyslexia all fall under “Autistic Spectrum Disorders” also known as autistic conditions. It was once believed that if you had an autistic conditon, not much could be done about it. Or if you had ADHD, then treating our children with drugs seemed to be the best approach. Unfortunately, drugs are not an effective strategy because they do nothing more than mask the symptoms and do very little to treat the underlying cause. This book has been borne out of years of much research and struggle for mother of five boisterous boys Julie van Eps, who has treated two of her own boys with simple and effective natural methods, all through evidence based research and medicine—delivering outstanding results.

À propos de l'auteur

Julie van Eps has always had a passion for health and nutrition, and wanted to take that energy and passion one step further when she came up with an innovative idea to launch Australia’s first ever chilled baby food for national distribution through retail giants Woolworths and Coles in 2006. Baby Boost was born after the birth of her first son Cooper when she started on the journey to find nutritious food using fresh natural ingredients. The company grew over a four year period which saw the launch of sugar free energy drinks into the retail market. Julie’s greatest passion is for her five young boys, who are all under 8 years (including one set of twins). Five years on it was time to call it a day and shift focus, and dive into studies in Health Science, Nutritional Medicine. Julie is the author of five books.
